But it's three days old and nothing definite was gathered in terms of whether or not we can access the DLC through hexing.

Are there any other threads that figure it out that you know of or no? Is it absolutely not possible?

You can only play the DLC if you have bought it. But you can hex edit the items in or get summon to someone's world and play it that way.

So even if you downloaded someones save you still wouldn't be able to use it to play the DLC? Interesting, thank you.

I'm not sure about xbox, but in PS3 the very game update itself is the DLC data.
meaning everyone has the DLC data downloaded and ready but those who buy it get the key needed to open the way to the new area.
so it shouldn't matter how you get the key. though whether the key itself is like DLC weapons and has separate item data or not, I don't know.

Having a TON of problems. First, when ever I try to save I get an error can not save slots or something. Second, even after completely removing all dark souls 2 content from my USB I can't even make it one step after I make my character due to an error messages telling me it can't save the game and boots me to the title screen. Maybe you can provide some answers or what not.

I'm having the same problem kinda, it lets me create new characters but i get maybe to the character creation screen before it says failed to save and kicks me out of the game. Its kinda frustrating but i'm sure someone here knows how to fix this problem. at least i hope so
