This is a video of an epic speedrun that took place in AGDQ 2014 (Awesome Games Done Quick), where people can donate during these runs for charity.

During this run a donation of 10000 (!) dollar was made by the creator of Minecraft. (@ 26:40 in the video)




I watched this live on Twitch when they were doing the run, it was an amazing run.
Lots of cool glitches to see, and various tricks. Awesome for SMB3 fans.

This speed runs videos are ruining games what's the point of showing the you can Finnish a game in a shorter time then anyone else, damn showoff if you can Finnish a game in 2 minutes well good for you but keep it to yourself n don't ruin my game A**hole lol :D

To each their own I guess. To me it never ruined any game. In fact it inspired me to play it more and more, to learn everything there is about the game, etc.

On top of that it's pretty amazing to see the skills performed by these runners, especially in games like Super Mario Bros 3 where perfect timing is amazing to see. It actually made me want to play the game myself again and do the same kinda stunts lol.

Also keep in mind that the people from AGDQ are doing it for charity to collect donations to fight against cancer. So it's not like they're doing it 'just to show off'. They're actually helping people.
