I'm hopping this game has some kind of multiplayer I would love for my friends to visit my cho garden

It does, but it's only available on the couch network. Unfortunately, there is no online multiplayer feature. Whether the Battle DLC adds online capability or not is still up in the air, but the only content the DLC has is versus content, and honestly it would be pretty stupid to nearly septuple the multiplayer content and still have no way to actually play with other people.

I theorize one of two things will happen: either the Battle DLC will bring an online versus mode to the game, or SGEA will realize how silly a multiplayer game that's getting all sorts of makeovers anyway but doesn't support online is and a second DLC will come out that simply enables online playability. Though, believe you me, I will rage pretty hard for months if it isn't delivered in the Battle DLC. Just saying. ^-^;

Okay, I checked it out. Unfortunately It's restricted to local console only. But my build is a developers build atm. It could very well be changed.

So it begs the question. Is anybody even going to buy the DLC? If the added versus content can't be played online, then is it even worth it? That said, I wouldn't be surprised if the Chao karate and the few extra Chao races are also on that DLC.

Thought, I guess change is always possible. It's possible that they just haven't finished working on a server for the game yet.

Of course, in the end, I'll probably end up buying the DLC too. I mean, it is Sonic, after all. And I'll just throw my money at SEGA for fan service... Which, let's face it, is what this is. *disappointed in self*

I still don't like it, though.
