I actually started it a few days before e3. Cause i found it randomly sitting in my closet. But AFTER watching the e3 video, it made me REALLY want to keep at it. I can't get over how gorgeous that trailer for the new one was! (nice that it's back in a jungle!)

Sounds good :) i'l do some research too, if i 'm finished with some projects.
Olso everything is in little endian and 4 bits long. And every thing has its own pointer.

Just remember if you have updated the game rename the savetu file to save otherwise it won't find the file. Also I tried with a hexed save and it threw up a "range out of index" error, now whether or not this is because the save was previously modified? But it works like a charm on a fresh save. Thanks again

well, it shoudn't matter if its modded before, but if the pointer is modefied then you will get a error.

P.S: The Save you Edited didn't change anything, it's still the same amount.

did you go to a store? if you look at the menu you'l see no difirence, but you need to go to a shop first.

Well, thats weard. Your save is completely different than the saves i saw. However i still have one last resort for modding your save. After i 'm done with work, i 'l mod your save.

Yeah it's to do with the patches, I noticed your Editor only worked on a non patched game save, with no patch its ".sav" with the patch applied its ".savtu" once the patch has been applied it's irreversible it seems even if you rename it to .sav to open into your editor the patch changes the save game so it work work because I'm guessing you set your editor to read just .sav ? hope this helps (if you didn't already know lol)

if you want to mod you save , then you can start a new game without the game update. then use my editor.

i'm unable to test or mod the patched save (.savtu)

I think I had this game hacked a year ago but I could only do it by hand :-/....It's not really to hard it's just the save file is huge and it takes search through like up to 40 files after it's all extracted. Not sure how you made a save editor but FINALLY. Now only if you can hack health or something else since I could never figure that out.

I agree, I would love to play the game with max diamonds but you can only edit the unpatched save, and the patched save seems to have a lot of changes and differences I don't want to miss out on. If so that would be great.

You use Horizon?

You need to set your save on a USB, put in in your pc, open Horizon, open your Games map, if you have set your save of Far Cry 2 on your device, you see Far Cry 2, open that map en drop the save on your desktop.

You need to delete the update... Clear system cache then save and try again

I know this may be a somewhat old game, but was someone able to modify the already existing savegame editor to allow for the patched version of the game? I've done everything I can think of to remove the patch from my console but I'm still not able to fully go back to the base version of the game to get the editor to change the diamonds on my character. Thanks for reading!

Hey man I saw that this mod existed and got really excited, but when I went to insert my save file It didn't come up as a save file but an EnjoyCoupon file type along with a bunch of other stuff on my flash drive so I can't figure out which file is my fc2 save file and when I change them to a .sav file and load them through your program, the program then becomes unresponsive and freezes, so I was wondering if there was anyway that you would be able to make this program kind of like horizon so that way it becomes easier to find your file and easy to mod it
