[Tutorial] How To Mod Silent Hill Downpour Iso/Jtag Mods

things you will need

Hex Editor (either hxd or HexWorkshop)
a clean Coalesced_INT.bin from the game
a bit of free time to waste on modding it

ok now thats outta the way lets begin

first off open Coalesced_INT.bin in your hex editor

lets search for Brightness so in hex thats gonna be 42 00 72 00 69 00 67 00 68 00 74 00 6E 00 65 00 73 00 73

ignore the 1st result
the second result we get to FlashLight Brightness settings now lets get changing values

so where it says B.r.i.g.h.t.n.e.s.s...ÿÿÿü2...5 lets change the 2.5 to maybe 6.0 :LOL:
you can also change the red green and blue values if you wish

when thats done keep hitting F3 to jump to the next
now brightness is done lets change players health

now do a hex search for
5A 00 53 00 68 00 61 00 64 00 6F 00 77 00 46 00 61 00 64 00 69 00 6E 00 67 00 44 00 69 00 73 00 74 00 61 00 6E 00 63 00 65
that says ZShadowFadingDistance
underneath that line is a Health setting (thats your players health levels right there)

so instead of the default 100 for health lets have 9999 =god mode

now we will do the Stamina settings for player ;)

so search for

change MaximumCombatStamina from 100 to 900

NOTE on that pic i have Highlighted the hex byte 2E DO NOT OVERWRITE THAT

change CombatStaminaAttackCost to 0.0
change CombatStaminaRegeneration to 9.9
change MaximalStamina to 999

now hex search

thats DamageMultiplier
set them to 0.0
just for lols search for this in hex
52 00 65 00 61 00 64 00 53 00 70 00 65 00 65 00 64
thats ReadSpeed
change that to whatever ya want
thats pretty much it for now

drop the file back into game folder where its sposed to go and boom mods a plenty ;)

if the file dont work it means you f*cked it up lol just DONT overwrite the 2E hex bytes and ya will be fine
use this tut and it keeps the original filseze and shud work for iso mods

Ok, I have edit file, but I can't see anymore map. In normal level and after be hit 8/9 times from monsters, character looose energy and die.

Is there a button to active god mode?.

Ok. I'll try it, but God mode, work for you?. I don't understand if 9999 is still few, or it is usefull. Because I think have modded correctly iso, but character doesen't resist to enemy attack...

I think god mode should be already on, I changed my Coalesced with already modded one and after 2h hard/hard playthrough I didnt die yet, make sure U do everything same as tutorial say or use already mded Coalesced file.

ps. God mode its not mean U not gonna die but still enough to beat hard mode without problems ;)

3: The color of various lights and lighters has been changed
4: The Enemy's health has been lowered to 20 or less
